It’s no surprise that I love talking to friends, family, or basically anyone about money. But that’s not the case for a lot of people. Today’s guest on the podcast is trying to make talking about money easier. I’m joined by the author of Breaking Money Silence and wealth psychology expert Kathleen Burns Kingsbury

Kathleen has a background in banking and finance but after completing her Master’s degree in psychology, she decided she wanted to merge the two and create her own business. Breaking Money Silence®: How to Shatter Money Taboos, Talk More Openly about Finances, and Live a Richer Life is Kathleen’s fifth book and it aims to teach how to approach talking about money with the people in our lives.

In this episode, Kathleen shares why negotiation is an essential tool in everyone’s money arsenal, how to approach talking to your parents about money, and why being money compatible is essential to a successful relationship. Kathleen is a wealth of knowledge (pun intended) and it was such a privilege to have her on the show!
