frequently asked questions
1. I would love to be on your podcast, how should I go about pitching myself to you?
As you might imagine, I get a ton of enquiries about this. I’m always looking for new inspirational guests who are rocking it in the business and personal finance world, so to be considered you need to apply via my podcast submissions page.
Please DO NOT email me directly about being on my podcast, I will only consider pitches via my application process. And if you’re a financial advisor who wants to promote yourself or your firm on my show, I’m gonna tell you right now, your application will be ignored.
2. I’m a journalist/freelance writer, how can I get ahold of you?
Right on! If you’re from a media outlet/publication and are looking to talk to a millennial money expert, I’m your gal. I’ve got a list of my past media mentions for your reference, but feel free to shoot me an email and I’ll try my best to get back to you ASAP.
3. I want you to be on my podcast/radio show, is this something you do?
You bet I do! I love being a podcast host, but I also love being a guest on other shows too. Shoot me an email with your pitch and let’s see if there’s a good fit!
4. I want to book you as a speaker for my next event, is that something you do?
You bet it is! I love inspiring and educating others about personal finance through public speaking, workshops, webinars and lunch & learns. For more info on what topics I can speak on and past speaking gigs, check out my Work with Me page.
5. I represent a brand that would love to work with you. How should I get in touch?
First, make your way over to my Work with Me page to learn more about what I do, past brands I’ve worked with, and how we can potentially work together. Then, when you think I’m a good fit, send me an email and I’ll try my best to get back to you within 48 hours.
Also, just a quick FYI, I don’t sell links (does anyone actually still do that anyway?), I don’t do freebie reviews or paid guest posts, and I don’t work with loan companies, mutual fund companies, or any brand that doesn’t align with my own brand and personal values. If your pitch fits into any of these categories, it will be ignored.
6. I’m a new blogger and would love some advice/to guest post on your blog!
Congrats for entering the wonderful world of blogging. I’ve been at it for almost a decade, and wow has blogging evolved since I first started. I love to help new bloggers out, but unfortunately, I no longer have the capacity to offer free advice or be hired as a consultant. As for guest posting, I do not offer guest posting on my blog.
