The other day at lunch, some co-workers and I were talking about some actors who were surprisingly crazy rich. Yes, I know most actors already make millions of dollars for shooting films, commercials, and endorsing products, but these actors in particular are really, REALLY crazy rich. Check it out!
1. Keanu Reeves — Net Worth $350 million
I didn’t even know Keanu Reeves still acted anymore, but maybe he just doesn’t need to because he’s crazy rich! How he was able to become more than your average celebrity millionaire is he was smart it enough to ask for a percentage when signing onto the Matrix movies. Also, fun fact: apparently he’s Canadian from Toronto. Neat!
2. Larry David — Net Worth $400 million
Sure, he’s earned a lot of money from writing and producing Seinfeld, then having his own show Curb Your Enthusiasm, but Larry David amassed most of his wealth when Seinfeld was syndicated.
And his wealth will continue to grow seeing seeing as Seinfeld went off the air in 1998, but still no matter what time of day it is you’d be hard pressed not to find an episode playing on at least one channel.
3. Julia Louis-Dreyfus — Net Worth $2.9 billion
Speaking of Seinfeld, did anyone know how rich Elaine is? Jerry Seinfeld is reported to be worth $800 million, but compared to Julia Louis-Dreyfus, that’s peanuts! Of course, she didn’t get all of that wealth herself. Her dad owns one of the world’s largest trading and commodities firms and she’s set to inherit. Must be nice.
4. Rooney Mara — Net Worth $4 million
Although her net worth at this very moment isn’t much to sniff at, not only is her star in hollywood quickly on the rise, but her family also happens to own the New York Giants worth about $1.3 billion.
5. Adam Sandler — Net Worth $300 million
It seems like the way to go when you’re an actor is to get into producing, which is exactly how Adam Sandler grew his wealth to an astronomical $300 million! That and being a voice in animated movies like Hotel Transylvannia which grossed $347 million (apparently Sandler’s highest grossing film to date).
To me, once you start getting into the 9 digits, that’s pretty much unlimited money. You could literally go to the bank, ask for $1,000,000 worth of $1 bills and swim in it like Donald Duck. Why couldn’t I have been born into Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ family?
If you were an actor already making good bank, what would you do to increase your wealth even more?
