What I love most about starting a new year is getting the chance to take a breather and really reflect on what happened the year prior. Taking a look back on 2013, it’s crazy to see how much stuff I crammed into just 12 months! To me, 2011 and 2012 were all about getting myself settled in my job, learning to live on my own, and becoming financially independent (free of debt, with savings in the bank). When 2013 rolled around, I was getting a bit of an itch for something new and exciting.
As you probably know by now, as soon as I finish a goal, I’m onto the next one. In 2013 I was aching to take some risks, to stop talking about doing things but actually do them, and most of all to start fresh.
A lot of things happened and changed this past year, and before I set a new list of goals for 2014 (check back for that on New Year’s Day), I thought it would be fun to take a look back on 2013 in pictures. Ok, here we go…
I went to Thailand for a month
I partied in Las Vegas for my bachelorette
I married my best friend and boyfriend of 6 years
I fulfilled my childhood dream of going to Disneyland for my honeymoon
I quit my job of 3 years and moved to Toronto to start a new life with my husband
I started school again to help me land my dream job in digital marketing
I celebrated my 2 year blogiversary
And finally, I landed a great job in Toronto to cap the year off
I sure can’t wait to see what will happen in 2014!
What were the biggest things you did/achieved in 2013?
